Para uma matéria publicada domingo no Correio da Paraíba, lembrando o Dia do Rock (que foi ontem), perguntei a alguns convidados: quais seus cinco discos de rock internacional preferidos? E os cinco preferidos do rock nacional? Não exigimos ordem de preferência e nem estabelecemos uma definição do que é o rock.

A capa, com a lista de cada um (inclusive a minha), está reproduzida aqui. Em seguida, todos os discos citados na área internacional e o número de citações de cada um (em outro post, vem a relação do rock nacional).

Não é uma eleição científica dos melhores discos (repare na pergunta), mas fica como sugestão do que ouvir nessa semana do Dia do Rock, e depois. 63 discos diferentes foram citados e apenas 14 mais de uma vez. 49 apareceram apenas uma vez. Pra ver a amplitude do gênero: os favoritos de cada convidado abrangeu muito mais do que concentrou.
